Happy friday!
Hannah was off school today and we enjoyed Noah's bagels for lunch. Yes, the Noah's down here are not yet Einstein Bros. Bagels. Noah's has a special place in my heart (silly, I know) and so I was very excited to see that they are still around down here.
I have never eaten lunch outside on such a warm November day. I am not trying to rub it in, but this is seriously crazy amazing to me.
I thought I'd convert this week's edition of things I never thought I'd have to say into things I never thought I'd have to do.
I never thought I'd have to:
1. Handwash laundry. We have been waiting one week for a new washer and dryer because the current ones are broken. In order for Calvin to have clean undies today, I had to do some handwashing and line drying yesterday.
2. Get off the freeway to buckle in a car seat. I don't even want to rehash that one.
3. Sneak garbage into the neigbor's can. I felt really bad about this one, but it had to be done. While the small garbage can worked for the family before us, we were overflowing with garbage by mid-week. I did my best to compost and recycle, but while we waited for the larger can to arrive, I snuck a bag into the neighbor's can on garbage day. If she wasn't going to utilize room in her can, I certainly was!
I hope I don't have anything else to add this list in the near future. :)
Enjoy your weekend!
I spy a new shirt on Hannah. :) Glad she liked it. I get nervous buying the little fashionista clothes these days.
ReplyDeleteYou're telling me. I was nervous she wasn't going to like the fit, but she likes it and I'm hoping it replaces that star shirt. Really hoping!
