Beach birthday

 

  Mike's birthday was on Saturday and we ended up at the beach.  We sure did not regret that decision.  It was a beautiful day and not too breezy which made the sun feel extra warm.

 

  It was Ava's first time enjoying the beach (as in not snuggled in the ergo or sleeping in the stroller).  She appears to be enjoying it very much!  Beach baby.  :)

 

She loved it so much it was worthy of a selfie!

  It was a great birthday full of a lot of his favorite things; good food, great weather, an epic birthday workout, and fun company.  I am happy to report that Mike said it was his best birthday ever.  He can no longer complain of the dark, soggy, cold birthdays of the past.  :)
