Vasona Park

  Another thing we did this weekend was go to Vasona Park in a nearby town.  We had been here before because it has a fun playground, but didn't see the carousel or train to ride.

Guess what Calvin and Joel chose?

 

I didn't go, but it sure looked like fun.  This little train took a tour of the park, Mike told me it was beautiful.

 

Can you spot them?

 

They were beaming with joy after they got off the train.  I guess it means they made the right choice!

 

  The kids also bonded with Slater Dawg over the weekend.  I was kind of worried they were going to want one after getting to walk him at the park, feed him, and play with him at home.  Fortunately, there has been no mention of it yet!

 

  We love exploring new parks and the great ones become quick favorites.  With the carousel and train, this is definitely at the top of the list!
