Howzit? | Photo dump

When someone asks me what I've been up to or how life is, I totally freeze.  I don't know how to answer.  I mean, do you want to know what I personally have been up to or the kids or who?  Me, I'm BOR-ING.  Let's see, I wake up at 5 a.m. every MWF to go swim.  And every night, like at 8:15 pm, I am dog-tired.  It is possible I am being productive on the computer, looking at pictures, or doing something crafty, but otherwise I am ready to do nothing.  In between those two, it's all kids.

I could tell you that they are SUPER into potato bugs right now.  They will you show you the potato bug colony in our garden.

Or I could tell you what they do when I want to take a picture of them in their jammers.

I could tell you about Ava's cute little chuckle on the swing.

Or how many times I did "unda-doggie" with Joel.

We certainly know how to keep busy and entertained, it's just that most of it just seems silly to share (except on my blog of course).  The more I've thought about it, the more I realize we actually have some serious life-changing stuff going on right now.

Swim team.  This is a commitment!  We have been going about 4x/week.  It is really nice to get out after naps and avoid the post-nap slump/crankiness, but it is also a lot of work!  Hannah LOVES it.  She tells me how much she loves it all of the time.  Notice, she also smiles while she does butterfly.  Nobody smiles while they do butterfly.  She is really good at this stroke, partially because she gets to kick like a mermaid.

The Frozen soundtrack.  LIFE-changing!!  Okay, do you see how cute they are here?  They are just playing together, being nice, no fighting...amazing!  We listen to the Frozen soundtrack many, many times each day and while I get tired of the songs, it is so great.  All 3 kids sing along and while they do, they also get along.  It is almost like a babysitter.  They turn on Frozen, sing together, and I can get something done without having to stop every minute to break up a fight.  It is crazy awesome.  Not to mention, watching them sing at the top of their lungs is sooo adorable.

Ava moving.  Big time life-changing!  This girl is just on the move and now pulling herself up to stand.

And lastly, I have no pictures (you're welcome), but Joel can put his own shoes on now, second only to him being toilet-trained for #2.  And that my friends, is LIFE-changing!  I'm being silly, but I'm not.

I have been counting down til Friday because my sister and bro are coming in town.  I'm trying to not let my excitement get too ahead of myself, but it's tomorrow, guys!

Have a wonderful long weekend!
