Family pictures

  I mentioned we did a family portrait session a week ago and we already have the pictures back!  I was so excited to see them and haven't stopped flipping through them since.  My friend from kindergarten started taking up photography as her side hustle (her term, not mine), and she happens to live in NorCal too.  We literally have not seen each other since we lived in the same dorm freshman year at UW and here we are both in Cali and she got to meet my whole fam.  I am in love with these pictures as she was able to perfectly capture each of our children and their personalities.  There were quite a few perfect family portraits that she miraculously got, and there were so many more "action" or "behind the scenes" shots that I'm so so so glad she took.  Those extras complete the story.

   This hat was one of her tricks and it sure did work!  Hannah is squeezing that paw and it makes the arm wave.  She mentioned she had some tricks for kids, I also gave her the ok to use some potty talk.  :)
