Random photo dump and gratitude

We have had a wonderful week, but thank goodness it is Friday.  It's been a busy week, so today's morning staying at home was just what we needed.  I'm currently back in my sweats that I re-changed back into after taking Hannah to school, sipping hot chai, and getting caught up on my Blurb books.  When I dumped my phone pics onto the computer I ran across some goodies that I thought I'd share.  I have no pearls of wisdom to attach to any of them, but my current musing is that I have most definitely become a Cali weather girl.  The highs are still in the mid to upper 80s, but the mornings are cold and it has me craving chai and loving scarfs and sweats.  As we were walking home this morning, it set in that this climate is perfectly me and it reminded me to have an attitude of thanks.  Sometimes I have to stop and have these seemingly obvious moments of reflection.  I then pinch myself as a reminder to be grateful for exactly what I have right now in the moment.  It's so easy for me to forget my blessings and long for something else.  I am a work in progress!  Right now, I am thankful that I get to be at home with my children and welcome them home when they are done with school.

In no particular order...
Got to spend their "candy money" from a friend at the candy shop.  Did you know they have Pop Rocks bubble gum now?  The Pop Rocks turn into bubble gum!!

Hey big bro!

Selfie fail.  Haha!!!

He spilled the beans.  I made him pick them up because he should have never been using the bulk bag of beans as a weapon.  This boy.  :)

So much cuteness in the backseat these days.

I asked Calvin if he would help Ava in the firetruck, and he replied, "Yes, I'm her big brother!"  I die.

Joel is now tall enough to go on the frog hopper.  Last time we were here, he was declined and it broke his heart.  What a difference one month makes when you are two.  It is no wonder he has been eating so much and taking long naps!!  He also adores Calvin and pretty much mimics everything he does, naughty and nice.

Ava got to ride the carousel and she was in awe.

I got out my fabric paint and whipped up the Seahawks shirt I wanted that they didn't have my size in.  I am really proud!!  I made one for Hannah too since we both didn't have any gear.

And now the weekend is here and I am thankful!!  Have a great one!
