Ikea
Our friend (and babysitter!) is back down for the school year! Yay!! She got to move in a week early and is just hanging out this week. I had to make a trip to Ikea and invited her along, and her roommate joined us. Ikea trips were a must with my college roomies when we were moving in! Having these two along turned this errand into an adventure. Rani had never been inside of an Ikea. Gasp. She thought it was a pretty fun place.
First stop, the café. It was 10:30 and these college girls had not eaten breakfast yet. :) They were super stoked when they saw signs for food and then even more so when they saw the prices. Cannot go wrong with 99 cent breakfasts!
Ava needed tog et some energy out. It's hard to tell, but she was crawling around like a crazy girl on a 3 foot stack of carpets. The 3 of us ladies were running to each side to make sure she didn't crawl right off.
Eventually, wandering the maze that Ikea is, some of our party started to get floppy.
Nothing that a 50 cent hot dog lunch couldn't fix! I didn't expect to eat lunch there, but Ikea knows how to do it cheap and convenient! Breakfast, lunch, errand, and an adventure...check, check, check, and check!!
Calvin insisted on the girls sitting in the back with him. Packed in like sardines after a trip to Ikea. Looks oddly familiar.
I have now used up my Ikea tank that takes approximately one year to fill up. See you in a long while, Ikea!
Ava is too busy double fisting to smile for the camera. :) Those rugs she's on look cute, if they aren't all sewed together. Were they?
