Sunset in the circle

  We just so happened to be outside on Monday as the sun was setting.  We are hardly ever outside after dinner these days.  Our evenings are often so busy after the mid-week afternoon activities and before you know it 7:15 has come, which is the new time we start getting ready for bedtime stories and jammies.  With school in session, it is not unlikely for the kids to be in bed before 7:45.  They are just so exhausted!  We also have been in the summertime habit of staying inside any time past lunch because of the heat.

  However, the days are changing for sure.  Fall is here!  We have crisp mornings and the heat of the day is gone by 5.  I'm hoping we will take advantage of the golden evenings outside at home once again.  Eating on the patio, maybe doing a little gardening, or perhaps an impromptu water gun fight.  Sign me up!!

 

How could I forget bike soccer!  That too.  :)

  Listening to the kid's laughter and playing together happily as the sun set over the hills, now that is the perfect end to any day!
