When you have friends like family

  Been thinking a lot about our Seattle peeps lately, still not over the high of our amazing trip this summer.  Seattle and Portland was just too good to us.  Thankfully, we have some pretty great California community too.  We got to hang with some of our very faves this past weekend.

  My kids love Uncle Mike, Auntie Rachel, and Slater (aka Swater or Puppyyyyy!!!)  I mean when  you get your nails painted, learn football plays, get a cheer and gymnastics show choreographed and advertised all in one weekend, how can you not love them?  We think they're pretty great too.

    After an exciting weekend and a packed summer of swim team and swim lessons, today was a good day to have NOTHING on the agenda.  3 of the 4 have gotten a little bug, so I let them watch a movie this morning and I took FULL advantage of that time to get some deep cleaning done.  I even dusted my house plants!  So thankful for super fun weekends with friends and for a much needed rest day to catch up.
