Our past week or so

   The kids have been bringing home all kinds of work and art that they normally would on the last day of school.  Calvin's first day of school picture and drawing of himself, etc.  You know, things that make you choke up a bit.  Only adding to an already emotional week with Mike starting a new job and Calvin turning SIX tomorrow.  Quick little photo dump from my phone and also, I updated my Retreat blog from earlier this week with more pics!

A little lesson on how you cannot sign Mama's name for her.  LOL!

Why is he so cool?!?!

I got to use Calvin's infamous face stamp for something!  

   We made little packages for his class for his birthday.  He also said "Bye!" to his friends.  California schools ask you stay away from candy and cupcakes for birthday celebrations and would rather you gift a toy.  I kinda like it, but it takes some getting used to.  I cheated with a fruit leather!

  And lastly, thought I'd show you Hannah's note to her best friend.  So sweet.  Turns out, her family is moving next month so she won't be going to that school anymore either.  Crazy timing!
