Overdue

    I had the productivity bug all day saturday and I got a lot done!!  I think I was feeling a bit nervous about today, my first day in the classroom, and I wanted to control what I could.  I basically got my life organized on paper and in my head as well as some other random stuff that was long overdue.

  Like chopping off her hair!  She has basically been wanting this done for months.  I finally got my act together and got her an appointment and it cancelled last minute.  So, a couple of weeks later, I decided I was just going to do it!

  Getting all organized in my head is like getting a haircut.  You feel lighter and have a bounce in your step!  Though we can no longer do fish tail braids, she is loving the quick and pain-free brushing in the morning and the little pig tails she can do.  She was so excited to show it off in Sunday school and to her friends at school today.  Speaking of her friends, I met more of them on the playground today and they were very sweet girls.  Thank you all for checking in with me, we are off to a great start!
