Swinging along

Just when I publicly announced that I was in a sweet spot.

The going was not tough, not too busy.  I was managing just fine and dandy.

Then things had to go and change.  QUICK!!

Yesterday, Mike started a new job at Apple.  Praise the good Lord for that!

  Next week, the two oldest start at a new school.  Long story, but we were on a wait list for it and spots opened up for the both of them!

  Exciting times ahead, but lots of transition and change at the same time.  The latter two bring me some anxiety for sure.  The new rhythms and adjustments that our family has ahead will take some time to get used to.

  The timing seems absolutely crazy.  We have been waiting for Mike to start this new job for 8 months  it seems. And then we got the call for this new school last week, something we applied for at this time last year.  It seems like too much at one time.  However, there are so many details that have worked out just right, that the timing couldn't be any better.  If we had done it our way, the road would not have been so smooth.  Being patient is hard, but it has paid off with perfect timing!  We thank God for that!
