Biking

  Hi friends!  I have been missing from this place for a couple of days.  Tuesday I was in deep sleep (exhausted from daily life)!  Yesterday, I was also sleeping because I was sick.  Anyway, I'm back!  :)

  The kids have been riding their bikes non-stop.  It's pretty much all they want to do.  They can ride in the driveway or a little in the back, but their favorite is in "the circle."  We live on a cul de sac, so when one of us is available to watch, they get to ride in the street.  This is them lining up at the start line (they're race cars) and Hannah says, "Start you engines!"  Then they all start revving.  It's pretty cute.

 

  I couldn't get him to smile.  He's telling me something here as he rides....he's ALWAYS telling me something!  :)  (We call them personal tweeters.)

  Hannah loves to go fast.  She likes to ride down the curbs.  You know, anything to increase the danger the better.  Being able to send her outside to play has been wonderful for us both!  (I have to be honest and say that this picture was totally planned.  The only way to get a shot of her was to tell her where to bike, where I would be taking the picture, and to look at me and smile.  It worked!)

 

  We also bike to pick Hannah up from school some days.  I know I must get looks pushing a double stroller with no kids in it and a bike on top.  I don't mind because I know better than to not have something I can transport tired kids and bikes home in.  It's really short, but you never know.
