Land's End
Last Monday, my mom was in town and we took her up to Land's End in SF for a day trip. We also had been wanting to hike around there since our last drive-by. If you're ever in SF, you must visit.
You don't have to walk very far to turn a corner and get a look at this.
You can walk down closer to the beach, but we decided to take the high path. If you go down, you have to come up, and with 4 kids in tow, it was not a risk we were going to take. Not to mention falling with the kids strapped on us.
Joel got a fun ride!
Mike cut us off here. We know that at any moment the kids would be too tired to walk another step, and so we wanted that to happen closer to the car.
You have to turn around when they are still happy. It's hard, but you'll be happy you did!
He was such a trooper, but this was inevitable. :)
We grabbed sandwiches to go for a picnic at the park.
Food in stomach + a place to play = one revived boy
...and cute to boot!
San Francisco thus far has been so good to us. Sunshine and clear skies, no fog to cloud the great views. What a fun day trip!
Have a great week back to the grind!
