Lemos Farm
Last friday the kids didn't have school so a friend and I trekked up to Half Moon Bay to visit Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay.
There might have been a bribe about a picture of them all, but you know... Poor Calvin got sick on the way to the farm. Any roads getting to the beach involve curves and when your poor child in the back is moaning and looking green, some bribes get thrown out the window.
It's always worth a try. I mean, this is gonna be a classic one day.
Her little faces and gestures, too cute!
Calvin is a hands-off kid when it comes to animals. Much like me. Not even available for the goats to see.
He had the courage to pet the days old baby. I was very proud of him. Just earlier a goat had come up to him and nudged him and he wasn't so happy about that.
The ponies were the hit. At one point, the whole ride was of Soetaert kids. :)
I was expecting more of a pumpkin patch, but it was definitely more a carnival and super packed. We didn't even bring home pumpkins. If I want a pumpkin patch, next year I will go the place across the street or just one of the places down the road that literally had less than 10 families at them. For now, I am off to find a nearby pumpkin patch so we can carve tonight!
Happy Halloween!
