Zac Brown Band

  Said goodbye to these cuties for the second friday date night in a row!  We were headed to the local amphitheater to go see Zac Brown Band.  We are big fans!

    I almost didn't even wear my cowboy boots!  I'm so glad I remembered as we were running out the door, because then at least I could sort of fit in.

    It is a large amphitheater with a large lawn at the top where you find a seat and put your blanket or chairs down and claim your spot.  We were pretty far away from the stage, but for last minute cheap tickets, there were no complaints!  It was more casual (which is my style), and you could have a conversation and eat dinner on your blanket while you waited for the show to start.  It was also nice to have some room and not be packed in like sardines once the concert started.  It wasn't as intimate as being super close to the stage, but it was super fun.

  It was their Jekyll and Hyde tour, so it gave them some freedom to sing whatever the heck they wanted along with the crowd favorites.  I am not as big of a country fan as Mike, but I really like them.  And their album has quite a mix of genres which makes it a very fun album to listen to.

Yay for concerts and date nights!
