Weekend with Layla

  Spent a wonderful weekend with my sweet niece this past weekend.  I couldn't wait to see her again!  Lot of pictures to follow (because this stage goes by so fast!) of my weekend in chronological-ish order.

  I took every rare and spare moment to get pictures of her.  We did a lot of hanging around the house and a lot of going out and about in between a feeding.  It was perfect.

   My grandma had this cashmere sweater knit for Layla.  They put her in it every moment they can because it's already kinda small for her.

Cuddling sleeping newbies is one of the best things in the world.

What is that big thing you keep putting in my face, Auntie?

 

   Mike insisted on more pics of what I was doing...  Poke bar at Met Market!!  Always.  And The Cookie!  And of course crafting.  :)

   My dad indulged us for dinner 3 nights.  So yummy!

    And partially because it was ingenious, partially to show off the goods to Mike, I introduce you to the kicked up homemade version of a rainbow roll.  Poke on a california roll.  YES!!
