Seeing green
We ventured over to the park yesterday while Hannah was at swim practice. This is new to us. Leaving a child at practice that is. She was thrilled she got to be there by herself, and I was thrilled I didn't have to sit on a lounge and be a human jungle gym.
The grass was long and as green as you see. The trees are turning yellow and leaves are dropping. The weather is definitely changing!
There's a hill at the park with a path that winds around it that is perfect for biking and worming up and down. Because in our family worming is a thing.
I can't stop thinking about how I had to race after Joel the first time he went down the hill as he kept screaming, "I can't stop!" After that he just giggled as he rode faster and faster down the hill. It certainly left an impression on him since now he can't stop talking about going back to the park with the mountain.
