Enjoying the sunshine!

...when Hannah's preschool class holds their swim lesson in the outdoor pool.  She is doing "mermaid kicks" on her way to learning butterfly.  Sounds like a perfect combo for this princess.

 

...when right after preschool we go straight to the playground to eat lunch and play.  Hannah doing her favorite thing ever, bars, and Calvin following along.

 



 





...when we go to Grammy's and play outside after dinner as long as possible.  Calvin playing "hit" and Joel on the "morm" (worm).

 





 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

...when we go to a play date at a new fun park where there are trails to bike and caterpillars to find.





...when we go play at the pool before and after Calvin's swim lessons.



...when we get to hang out on the patio with this cutie.

 



...when the kids complain how hot it is when they get into the car.

 

when I sit outside during nap time to work on my tan.

 

...when I didn't have to put on my down jacket to go swimming this morning and my coach wore flip flops for the first time this year!  You see, I swim at 5:45 am at an outdoor pool and the weather has shown us no mercy this year.

 

...when I have to do battle with the bugs inside because our doors are wide open.

 

...when we don't get wet at farmer's markets.

 



  It is feeling like summer around here!  We don't even have to wait until the afternoon for the clouds to burn off. Something about the warmth and sun just energizes me!!  I have not even needed to take a nap this week.  We haven't gotten a ton of sun lately, but when we do there is no better place.  The only downside is that I put a ton of pressure on myself to make the most of all of the sun that I kind of get burned out after a few days.  I guess I'll take it!
