Preschool

Hannah "graduated" from preschool today.  It has been a very fun year for her.  Her preschool is part of Samena swim club which we belong to.  Swimming is incorporated into the curriculum each day, so she was doing lots of art, making friends, and learning to swim.  She has always been a little fish, but now she is swimming across the pool, diving, and doing all of the strokes.  It's pretty fun for me to see her love to do what I love.

The whole class sang us some songs.

Then those that were going to kindergarten were given diplomas.

 Hannah sped across the stage.

Afterwards we all swam outside (thankfully the sun came out for us).  Hannah went off the diving board a few times.

This was a big deal for her.  She fearlessly went off when she was 20 or so months old, but then she became more aware of the height and didn't want to do it for a while.  The nice thing is she can go to the big pool by herself and the boys and I can watch from the little pool now.

The boys had to follow suit.  Calvin will be attending this preschool in the fall.

Joel is just too cute with that smile!

As we were leaving the pool today Hannah asked, "When do I go to kindergarten?"  She's ready for her next adventure and so are we.  We are thrilled about kindergarten for her because we recently found out she got in (through lottery) to a Spanish Immersion school.  Instead of her gibberish she calls Spanish that her and Calvin speak to each other when they play, she can really start speaking Spanish this fall.  Maybe she'll also teach her dad a thing or two about Spanish as well.  :)
