Go Fish
If we aren't playing "Ole Maid Ole Maid" (what Calvin calls Old Maid), then we are often playing Go Fish. We have been playing card games with the kids for a while now. It is so much fun! Sometimes what the kids want to play isn't what I would choose (if you know what I mean). However, I can get into card games and most board games. We love Junior Monopoly party edition around here. Calvin calls it "woppy." Anyway, back to Go Fish. For Go Fish, Calvin has to have someone help him. He doesn't know all of the names of the fish (or numbers when we play with a normal deck). This time he wanted to be with Hannah.
As you have probably noticed, Calvin can't quite say all sounds and Go Fish is no exception. He used to say "Go Tish." Then the sounds in "tish" got turned around and it turned into an expletive. Wait, it gets funnier. Then he started saying, "Go *fish* in pond." Now it is an order with full emphasis on *fish,* "Go SH** in pond, wittle girl!" We crack up almost every time he says it. Wait, now you can too. We got it on video.
