Little birdies

  We were having some mango for second snack today. We always have a morning snack, but today they were still hungry after we already had lunch.  I'm telling you--the grind!  Anyway, I wanted to feed them because I didn't want them to get all sticky or anything else sticky.  I usually don't mind so much because they have to learn to not be so messy and to clean up, but it was just what I needed to do this time.

 

 

 

  Joel was trying to get a bite of the piece I would offer to Calvin.  I tried to take some pictures of the action while also fork-feeding them.  They are all blurry, but you get the picture.

  As soon as I start taking pictures they start hamming it up.  They are giving each other kisses now.

  When you have food, these kids are like baby birds.  They flock to you and come around you with their mouths open, waiting for their worm.  They'd even chirp if we asked them to.  We haven't done that, but we have asked them to dance because it is just so darn cute!  We have Joel doing just that for some ice cream.  This is one of the kids' favorite videos to watch.  It is from May.
