Hannah's school picture

  See this cute face?  It's a part of her preschool picture from this past year.  We LOVE this picture because it is exactly how Hannah smiles when she is happy.  I wanted to send it out to some family that are not local so I've been working on some cards.

  I designed some flowers to make stamps.  I get a lot of inspiration from blogs and these flowers were no different.

I carved out the designs and tested them out.

 

Here is my finished card.  I love how it turned out!

 

I had a few setbacks when making this card.

1.  There were a lot of steps and way more work than I intended.  I can only get so much done during nap time each day.

2.  Yesterday was a long day.  All I could muster the energy for during nap time was laying on the couch to shop online and browse facebook.  Those kiddos gave me a run for my money.  Thank the Lord for new days and my husband for letting me enjoy some retail therapy at night!  Needless to say, there was no progress on cardmaking.

3.  I had to remake a stamp.  As I was stamping I noticed some blemishes.  I put two and two together and realized the blemishes were teeth marks.  Calvin and I were watching videos at my desk the other day and I had to tell him not to put the stamps in his mouth, little did I know he was actually biting them.  Such is life with little ones!
