Happy Friday

  We had lunch and swam this afternoon at the pool today.  We have been waiting all week to do that.  The sun has arrived in Seattle and it is here to stay for a while!!  I'll be sharing much more of our outdoor fun in the coming days.  In the meantime, I have to document the kids doing some rainy day activities at home.  After all, it was such a wet week and we were stuck inside a lot.  This will be the last of these structured play times for a bit.  :)

Hannah and Calvin were working on cards for Grammy's birthday yesterday.

 

 

Hannah is super intense when she is coloring, drawing, or doing homework.

 

Calvin's attention span is getting longer too.

 

 But he'll still stop and tell me he wants me to take a picture of him.

Joel is hard at work too.

 

However, he is usually just uncapping and capping all of the markers.

 

  Also, I just wanted to remind those of you that use Google Reader that it is no longer available on July 1st.  I had a few mini-meltdowns these past months trying to figure out which feed reader I was going to use.  After a little research and trying out a bunch of options, I switched to Feedly (now that they have a cloud service) and can use it for all of my devices--windows phone, iPad, and windows 8 on my desktop.  Many readers are not so versatile.
